Three Peakes 2011 Pinot Noir

Having spent nine months in French Oak barriques the wine was bottled on the 20th February 2012. It displays a vibrant purple colour with aromas of sweet cherry and violets. On the palate there are hints of ripe plum with a dash of spice. Our wine has a wonderful silky finish with well integrated tannins.

The wine has been produced and bottled without the use of any fining agents.

Wine maker Peter Bartle comments “this wine is looking pretty smart and is sure to impress.”

This wine has achieved early success picking up Pure Bronze Medals in both the Bragato and Air New Zealand wine awards this year.

Sweet stone fruit, melons and ginger can be found on the palate with a touch of Turkish delight. The wine is mouth filling, well balanced with a rounded finish. This wine is now avalible and is drinking particularly nicely. Make sure it is on your summer, lunchtime, wine list!
